The Office of Student System Services provides support to create, implement and maintain certain student systems projects. OSSS works with the appropriate units to create a work request, ITPC template, or campus development proposal for student related projects.
Please send an email to aes_webmaster@uic.edu with all necessary details. The email is routed into our ticketing system and a staff member is assigned and will then be in contact to obtain additional information. The request will be evaluated by OSSS for feasibility, timeline and resource allocation.

Resource Utilization
Maintenance – 50%: Maintenance is a major part of the operation. It includes Banner upgrades, updating and fixing our currently developed applications, production scheduling, configuration requests, expanding and creating campaigns and communications.
System Analysis – 25%: System Analysis includes troubleshooting Banner problems, working with colleges and administrative departments to devise solutions for changes required by new regulations, campus initiatives, or changes implemented by current business partners, and determining whether and how we can implement a new or changed business process using Banner.
New Development Work – 25%: New development for Banner, related systems, or internal development.
